Ernest Henry Horne only child of widow Lillian Horne, living at 81, Gledow Street, Hall
Lane, Armley, Leeds.

At the time of his enlistment on the 5th of September 1914 he was working as a Motor engineer in Leeds and after joining the Pals was attached to the spare Mules transport section.
He served with the Pals in Colsterdale Egypt and France.
