Frank Wright joined the “Pals” in September 1914, Serving with C Company No 10 Platoon, in Colsterdale, Egypt and France. Seriously Wounded during the Battle Of The Somme on 1st of July 1916, he was invalided home and discharged due to wounds five weeks later on the 14th of August 1916.
